The term Call-to-action or CTA refers to a button or a link that encourages the user to perform an action. They are heavily used in websites as well as emails. They are often the only reason why an email is sent and can lead to huge traffic. [Tweet this!]

Some of the commonly used examples are – Shop Now, Click Here, Request a Demo, Download the App, Verify, Order Now etc.
